Overview
The Psychrometric Calculator ("the App") is a free, open-source engineering tool that computes moist-air properties and psychrometric processes. This policy explains what information (if any) is collected when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or process any personal information.
All calculations are performed entirely on the server at the moment of your request and are not saved anywhere. The inputs you enter (temperatures, humidity values, etc.) are used only to compute results and are discarded immediately after the response is returned to your browser.
No accounts, logins, or user profiles are required or created.
2. Automatically Collected Data
The App is hosted on Render. Like any web host, Render may record standard server-access logs that can include:
- Your IP address
- Browser type and version (user-agent string)
- Date and time of request
- Pages or endpoints requested
- HTTP status codes
These logs are retained by Render for operational purposes (security, abuse prevention, debugging) in accordance with Render's Privacy Policy. We do not have direct control over or access to these logs in the normal course of operating the App.
3. Cookies and Tracking
The App does not use cookies, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or any third-party advertising technology. No data about your usage is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Streamlit (the framework powering the App) may set a session cookie in your browser to maintain the state of your current session. This cookie contains no personally identifiable information and is deleted when you close the browser tab.
4. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party infrastructure:
- Render — cloud hosting platform. Privacy Policy
- GitHub — source code repository. Privacy Policy
We do not embed social media widgets, maps, or payment processors.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is a general-purpose engineering tool and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. No registration is required to use the App.
6. Data Security
Because we do not store any user data, there is no personal database that could be breached. All traffic between your browser and the App is encrypted via HTTPS.
7. Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be published at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
